The best manufacturers of boats for outdoor activities and fishing. Which one to choose?
Many manufacturers have mastered the production of fishing boats, but not all of them are able to provide the maximum quality of their products. Taking into account the fact that quality in this case is a synonym for the word security, the choice should be given to those brands that are widely known:
-
Solar;
-
Marlin;
-
Korsar;
-
Fregate;
-
Oriole;
-
NMR;
-
Mnev.
Characteristics of products manufactured under the above brands can be found on the Internet. In addition to them, you should be familiar with the reviews of real users who had time to test models on the water and identified both strengths and weaknesses.
Types of boats
The design features of modern boats, as well as their technical characteristics, entirely depend on what material they are made of. In this regard, the models presented on the market can be divided into several conditional groups.
Wooden boats
Models made from natural wood, treated and dried accordingly. They distinguish boats made of natural wood, treated with resin and used as stationary boats by residents of coastal homes, as well as their more modern counterparts, made of plywood and transported to the reservoir on a gun carriage. Differ in very quite good operational characteristics and durability. The sizes can vary greatly depending on the design of a particular model.

Plastic boats
The design of plastic boats is similar to that of wooden ones, however, due to the nature of the material, these models lack many drawbacks. In particular, the plastic has a much higher mechanical strength, it is not afraid of direct sunlight and the effects of moisture, does not deform and does not crack over time. Disadvantages is a fairly large weight, as well as the possibility of deformation when exposed to an open source of flame.

Rubber boats
Compact and relatively reliable boats, characterized by extremely affordable price. The weight of most of these models is 12-15 kilograms, which allows you to carry it in your hands. Inflatable rubber boats consist of 2-3 individual cylinders separated by partitions and an inflatable bottom. Their size also differs - on sale you can find both single and models designed to carry 4-5 people at a time.

PVC boats
Polyvinyl chloride has maximum strength and rigidity, it is not afraid of moisture and direct sunlight, perfectly tolerates contact with hard surfaces and is not prone to aging, caking and the formation of cracks and creases. Currently available PVC boats have various sizes and designs, and therefore are suitable for all purposes without exception.

Selection options. What to look for when choosing a boat?
Transom
Currently, the lion's share of boats is purchased for use in conjunction with an outboard boat engine. For this purpose, the boat must have a rigid rear part - the so-called transom, to which the motor is fastened with the help of special clamps. If we are talking about a wooden or plastic boat, the feed should be of the appropriate shape, allowing the installation of the motor. If only oar operation is planned, this element and its characteristics can be neglected.
Spaciousness of the boat
As a rule, the starting point of the measurement is the number of places - boats for sale are single, double, triple and so on. The traditional formula for determining the number of places is considered “number of people + 1”: even for operation by one person, you should prefer a double boat, which will provide maximum comfort in any mode of operation, and also allow you to take a large amount of equipment.
Type and design of the bottom
Speaking of plastic or wooden boats, the choice of the buyer is small. At his disposal is available only a hard bottom, which is a continuation of the boat itself. In the case of rubber and PVC boats, there is something to choose from:
-
Single layer bottom. The most thin and soft bottom, which is not reliable. It is the lot only budget rubber boats;
-
Inflatable bottom. It is a separate cylinder, pumped with air, which provides some kind of stability and protects against cold;
-
Hard folding bottom. The privilege of PVC boats and advanced rubber models. The foldable design is part of the boat and provides not only maximum stability, but also the ability to stand still when necessary;
-
Form factor AirDeck. The bottom is made of a thick layer of PVC, which is permeated with a variety of channels. As a result of this design, the boat is rigid and stable, and also quite compact during transportation.
Loading capacity and transport dimensions
The carrying capacity of most modern boat models ranges from 100 to 700 kilograms, and those models that are capable of carrying up to 200 kilograms of weight do not require registration and technical inspection.This parameter is directly related to the number of places - the higher the capacity of the boat, the higher its declared capacity. When choosing a boat for purchase, you should pay close attention to this parameter, comparing it with the number of people who will regularly move on it, as well as with the amount of their luggage.
No less important are the transport dimensions and weight of the boat. Rubber and PVC models are relatively compact, and a special bag can be used to transport them. In the case of plastic and wooden boats, everything is much more difficult: you can only transfer them on the roof of the trunk or on a special carriage.
How to choose a PVC boat?
Given the above features, boats made of PVC material are the most logical and well-considered purchase to date. When choosing a universal boat made of polyvinyl chloride, you should make sure that its characteristics were, at a minimum, the following:
-
The length of the hull is 280-350 cm, the design is two-seater;
-
Transport weight - 20-25 kg;
-
Loading capacity - 200-300 kilograms;
-
PVC density - 750-800 g / cm3 and more;
-
Bottom - solid or made in accordance with the concept AirDeck;
-
If you need to use outboard motor, a transom is required.
